CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

CAI offers a variety of training courses to help you meet new challenges in the design of power delivery facilities. Our senior engineers have an average of more than 20 years of experience in the design of electrical transmission lines and substations involving a full range of voltages and conditions. Our environmental staff also has more than 20 years of experience in the routing of electric transmission lines as well as pipelines and siting of substations and generating facilities in all types of environments involving a multitude of constraints.

Our most frequently requested seminars focus on transmission line and pipeline routing and substation siting, public involvement, transmission line design, substation design, and TRANSMISSION 2000® software. Any of our seminars can be presented in either your offices or ours and will be tailored to meet your specific goals and budgets. Upon request, we will assemble a course outline and budget for your approval.

In addition to formal seminars, CAI offers a tailored program in which one or more members of your staff work on one of your projects under the technical supervision of our senior engineers. Under this program, your personnel work in our offices, and we supply the necessary facilities and support, such as computer hardware and software, CADD drafting, and clerical services. This program will benefit your newer staff members as well as your senior staff who lack expertise in a particular area.
