Drafting
- Create new engineering drawings in MicroStation or AutoCAD format
- Revise engineering drawings from field-marked prints
- Update borders, logos, and standards on drawings acquired from other sources
- Create new CADD files from cit files or tif images of scanned drawings
- Automate CADD processes to assure accuracy and consistency within projects
Scanning
- Scan full-size hard-copy engineering drawing to electronic file (tif or pdf)
- Scan microfiche aperture cards and microfilm jackets to electronic file (tif or pdf)
- Scan hard-copy vendor documents, maintenance logs, reports, and project files to electronic files (pdf or tif) and organize them into simple directories, or into your records management system
- Prepare hard-copy files for destruction or off-site storage
Our staff can work alongside you in your office or remove drawings and files from your workspace and transport them to our secure building. But, we don’t just provide the team; we manage the entire project for you. Once you tell us your needs and turn over the files, we sort, index, prepare for scan, scan, update, and return or prepare your original documents for long-term storage or destruction. You can rest easy knowing that your files are well protected in our secure workspace and that only our project team has access to files and information.
Data Services
- Supply the labor to search through your old hard-copy files to find necessary or “missing” data to add to your system
- Provide data entry for relay settings, equipment ratings, specifications, etc., into your system using our staff at your office or working at our office via VPN.
- Bring software experience to your project; we have worked in CAPE, Aspen, and several client-specific vendor-customized databases
Special Services
- Produce CADD-based circuit diagrams showing GIS-detailed pole-top switch locations
- Create utility patrol maps showing transmission and distribution lines overlaid on state physical maps
- Integrate power network software and system data with geographic information systems to create transmission system maps using our own Transmission Mapping for Network Analysis© tools
