CAI's electrical systems engineering staff provides a broad spectrum of electrical systems analyses to utilities, independent power producers, governmental agencies, industrial firms, and contractors offering turnkey services. We use a variety of software packages, including our own TRANSMISSION 2000® suite of programs, to conduct our studies. We specialize in evaluation of high-voltage power systems ranging from 34.5 kV to 765 kV. We also have experience in analyzing and applying dc transmission to ±450 kV. Our TRANSMISSION 2000® Power Flow program is capable of solving the largest power flow models available--currently, more than 45,000 buses.
