| User Group Meeting | Tues., Sept. 23, 2008 |
| Advanced Power Flow and Protection Analysis | Wed., Sept. 24, 2008 |
| One-Line Diagram | Thurs., Sept. 25, 2008 |
| Transient Stability | Fri., Sept. 26, 2008 |
Power Flow, Short Circuit, Protection Analysis, and One-Line Diagram training sessions focus on the basic use of the programs. This is an excellent opportunity to get an introduction to new features of the programs and to make your new systems engineers more productive. Transient Stability training includes an introduction on how to make a transient stability study with emphasis on modeling. We will be using Anderson and Fouad’s Power System Control and Stability as the text.
We also offer a seminar on Advanced Power Flow techniques. Items covered include computation of transfer capabilities, the Power Network Data Manager, use of the Contingency Processor, use of Power Flow with Microsoft Office Programs, and other advanced topics.
The User Group meeting offers a good opportunity to catch up on what’s new with the TRANSMISSION 2000® product. While we have some definite plans and commitments, the User Group meeting provides an opportunity for you to express your needs.
Registration for the User Group meeting is $300, which includes dinner Monday evening, lunch on Tuesday and a complimentary issue of our TRANSMISSION 2000® Transmission Access Information Library© (TAIL). Each day of training is an additional $450. The Advanced Power Flow seminar is $675. If you register for three days of training, your attendance at the User Group meeting is free.
All sessions are from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at our offices in Jackson, Michigan, or a nearby facility especially designed for training. Class size is limited, so call 517-788-3474 or email Karen S. Chmielewski today to reserve your place in the sessions you plan to attend.
