Organizational:

This position reports to the assigned Section Manager.

Objective:

The successful candidate will provide transmission line engineering services, as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with appropriate education, ambition, and a desire to grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform civil and structural engineering tasks related to the design of high-voltage transmission lines, including route selection, structure design, foundation design, material specification, construction bid document preparation, and design/construction liaison
  • Serve as the Lead Project Engineer on small projects
  • Using state-of-the-art computers and software (including PLS-CADD)
  • Writing reports
  • Working directly with clients
  • Visiting project sites

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program required. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. At least three years of related experience demonstrating continuous growth and knowledge expansion, delivering 3-5 multifaceted projects simultaneously, and overseeing technical aspects of projects. Experience with PLS-CADD required. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States.
