Substation Electrical Engineer
Substation Electrical Engineer to join Commonwealth Associates, Inc.’s team in Roanoke, Virginia. We are seeking candidates who have a BSEE degree and 5 or more years of experience in the design of high-voltage substation facilities rated 12.5 kV, preferably with an electrical or consulting engineering firm. Experience with protection, controls, metering, and instrumentation; substation outdoor arrangements and layout; and substation major equipment and specifications are desired. Candidates should also have experience in writing proposals and technical reports and interacting with clients.
Candidates must hold a Virginia Professional Engineering license, or the ability to become licensed in Virginia within 6 months.
