About the presenter:
With over 27 years of environmental experience, Doug Longpre is a sought after expert in the fields of on high-voltage transmission, distribution, substation, and land development projects. His strengths include SESC planning and design, access route planning, transmission line routing, environmental due diligence, and federal, state, and local permitting. He has managed subconsultants on multiple projects to ensure wetlands, surface waters, T&E species and their habitats, cultural resources, special flood hazard areas, and other resources are identified prior to beginning the projects, any proposed impacts to the resources are properly permitted, and the resources are protected while the projects is active. Doug is also a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Remote (Drone) Pilot, and a former Army paratrooper.
